Abstract   Acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas is a rare neoplasm arising from the exocrine cells of the pancreas, comprising no more than 1 to 2% of all pancreatic cancers. CT appearence of pancreatic acinar carcinoma has been described as a sharply circumscribed mass with central necrosis. We report a case of recurrent acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas in a 41-year-old man who had distal pancreatectomy three years ago for primary acinar cell carcinoma.
